Your privacy matters. This page explains exactly what data we collect, how our AI features use it, what we share with employers, what we never share, and how you stay in control.
neuromatchβ’ is built on a simple principle: your data belongs to you. We collect only what's needed to connect neurodivergent talent with inclusive employers, and we give you granular control over what our AI tools can see.
You control AI access
Granular toggles let you decide what the AI can read.
Data is isolated
Your profile is walled off from other candidates at the database level.
We collect the following categories of personal information:
We offer two AI-powered assistants. Each one acts only on your behalf, using only your data, and only the categories you've explicitly enabled.
π§ Iceberg Agent (for candidates)
Reads your CandidateProfile and VideoInterview data to suggest improvements, identify gaps, and help you articulate your strengths. It cannot write to your profile β it only proposes suggestions you review and apply yourself. It also cannot see any other candidate's data β database-level isolation enforces this.
π§ HR Specialist AI (for employers)
Reads your CompanyProfile and JobPostings to help craft inclusive, compelling job descriptions. It cannot access candidate profiles β it only works with your company's data.
β Important: AI does NOT train on your data
Your profile data, video responses, and chat conversations are not used to train AI models. They are used only to serve your immediate conversation and are not shared with third-party AI providers for training purposes.
When you apply to a job or make your profile visible, the following is shared with the employer:
The following data is never visible to employers or other candidates unless you take a specific, intentional action to share it:
contact_visible to true or have actively applied. Before any AI feature accesses your data, you'll see a clear, prominent consent screen (not buried in a 500-word document). You can:
Sensitive categories (accommodations, video interview data, company documents) are disabled by default. You must explicitly opt in for the AI to access them.
We use multiple layers of protection β not just one:
1. Database-Level Isolation
Row-level security (RLS) ensures each candidate can only ever read their own profile β not anyone else's. This is enforced by the database, not by UI logic.
2. Consent Gate
AI features are blocked until you explicitly agree. No silent data access.
3. Granular Permissions
You control which data categories the AI can read β sensitive data is opt-in.
4. Agent Guardrails
AI agents are read-only β they cannot modify your profile. They suggest; you decide.
5. Anti-Fabrication Rules
The AI is instructed never to invent experience, inflate skills, or help you misrepresent qualifications.
6. Video Provenance
Every video response is hash-verified (SHA-256) with version history to detect tampering.
If you have any questions about how your data is used, want to revoke consent, or need to exercise any of your rights, please reach out to us at info@neuromatch.co. We're committed to transparency and your peace of mind.
